The Bellingham Symphony Orchestra is in its 44th season. The organization is comprised of over 80 musicians who are primarily volunteers, a board of directors, and a small office staff. As part of our concert series, the BSO presents six to seven classical concerts. Each of these concerts features world renowned soloists. In addition, the organization does over 90 in-school concerts each season and collaborates with Mount Baker Theatre for an Educational Concert as part of their Educational Series. The BSO receives great support from the community with some seasons having multiple sold out concerts. We are looking for an intern to assist with our Youth and Community Engagement Programs. There is potential for the intern to work with other areas of the office including operations and marketing.
There are many benefits to this internship including working with a great team. We are enthusiastic about sharing fine orchestral music with our community. We strive to put forth high quality work with innovative strategies. The mission of the Symphony is, “Music of all ages to inspire all ages.”
