The Bellingham Youth Chamber Players program provides chamber music opportunities to elementary through high school string, woodwind, and piano students. Students meet throughout the school year to work on chamber music and receive coaching from professionals. The chamber groups have several performance opportunities throughout the year and occasional opportunities to play in masterclasses. BYCP is run by Program Coordinator Samantha Sinai. Nancy Heyer and Deb Oksenberg, Founders of BYCP, are advisors for the program.
Registration for next season will open in July. For more information, please email BYCP@bellinghamsymphony.org. BYCP music stands are provided by Quist Violins.
Each year, we partner with the Bellingham Music Club, inviting the winners of the BMC Student Competitions to participate in the BSO’s High School Concerto Competition. Concerto Competition winners receive a scholarship prize and, when possible, the chance to perform with the BSO!
We are currently accepting submissions for the BSO High School Concerto Competition! For more information, please contact Alex at email@example.com.
