Our Restaurant Dinners are unique dining experiences, pairing the culinary talents of our community's top chefs with the musical stylings of symphony musicians who perform at the events. This event at the Hotel Bellwether Ballroom features a one-of-a-kind culinary experience with a delicious multi-course dinner paired with romantic music from our string trio. Bellwether Executive Chef Marcello Mazzoleni is creating a custom menu where each course plays off the music creating a symphony of flavors.
First Course – A salad with a kick
Thought to be about a girl he was dating, it bears the subhead, “My girlfriend is cross with me.” Back in 1882, it must have been regarded with amusement when it was first heard in Munich at a Pschorr family concert at the home of Strauss’ mother’s relations.
Main Course - A star-crossed pairing
This trio was composed shortly after Schubert realized he was unable to marry the girl he fell in love with.
Dessert - The grand finale
A hugely romantic trio that shows Brahms' influence.
